Winnie and Oslo Co’s story started three years ago when two Melbourne friends from design school wanted to combine good quality design and their love of their fur babies. Winston and Oslo Co. was born. Fun, vibrant and well-crafted, we create quality, comfortable and attractive pet beds, blankets and other soft furnishings designed with pets and their humans in mind. Our products aim to interweave the owner’s love for their furry friends with the life and homes they share with them. Our designs can also be mixed and matched.

Our products are also made ethically, made in Australia and made with consideration of our carbon footprint. Winston and Oslo Co. is a fun way to proclaim our love for our best friends/fur babies as well as love and care for ourselves.

Our Philosophy

We hold quality over quantity and our ranges are produced in small batches with no waste. Our products are thoughtfully handcrafted for durability and longevity as well as designed to suit modern homes and lifestyles.

We aim to be sustainable in our manufacturing processes and supply chain. We use local manufacturers, aim to be transparent with our processes and all our fabrics are Global Organics Textile Standard.  We also condemn  exploitative work practices and only engage with suppliers who pay and support their workers fairly and ethically.

As it’s only the beginning for us, we continue to grow, learn and develop our business to be more sustainable and ethical and wherever we can make improvements we will thrive to implement them. We see this as core of what makes our business worthwhile.

Our Makers And Our Materials

All our products are Australian made by local suppliers and makers. We work with a social enterprise assisting with the training and up-skilling disadvantaged and under-employed communities. We use a local digital printer and dye house who use organic fabrication (organic canvas and cotton), use water-based inks and have Ethical Clothing Australia accreditation. Our trimmings are sourced from a local Melbourne wholesaler.  

The chunky cord fabric was sourced from China - unfortunately for the best quality and robust cord fabrics we had to go elsewhere.  We hope that we can source similar here when it becomes available.

Our Packaging

We are aware that packaging and delivery impacts the environment. We’re not a huge fan of bells and whistles so you won’t be digging through layers to get to your purchase. All our boxes, tags, stickers, packaging tape, packaging and packing paper are all compostable or recyclable. We use a courier service that is 100% carbon neutral. We are also a plastic-free business.
